"The KCE-415i is a simple interface that allows you to view and control your movies directly from your iPod, through your Alpine rear set entertainment monitors.  It also charges while it is connected and turns on and off with your car’s ignition.  Unfortunately, it will not charge the iPhone 3g, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod nano 4th generation without a 5volt charging adapter."
This adapter does not support video playback for the following iPod models: iPhone, iPod touch, iPod classic (6th generation), iPod nano (3rd generation).
